Summer Day Camp

Campers and their families are the first priority in every decision we make. After all, partnering with families is an enormous part of our success at Out & About Day Camp. To support our family-friendly policy, we keep in close communication with our camp families all year long.

We treasure individual strengths and nurture self-confidence and self-expression through our camp activities. As part of our commitment to meeting every child’s needs, we’re equipped and eager to offer plenty of personalized attention, a variety of activities for your child to choose from, and a supportive environment. Out & About Day Camp will exceed your expectations and the expectations of your child!

Out & About Day Camp provides customized flexibility. Campers participate in the activities that THEY like! With our “Active Options and Clubs” component, campers have a say in making their summer a memorable one.

Located in DeForest, Wisconsin, Out & About Day Camp is very convenient for school district and neighboring families. The Out & About Day Camp program is designed with the age and development of each child in mind, providing a balance of physical and non-athletic activities. Campers are exposed to a wide variety of activities. Activities include:

To enhance the camp experience, we will bring in or visit guest speakers from time to time. These speakers have included:

Law Enforcement Personnel
Firefighters
Business Owners
Athletes
Coaches
Community Leaders
Singers
Storytellers
Activity Specialists

Field Trips are a weekly feature of our summer camp. These experiences offer an opportunity for campers to visit some of the unique attractions of the State of Wisconsin. Bus transportation is provided, and contracted through a local vendor. Both admission costs and transportation are covered through enrollment fees.
